VINH CITY, Vietnam (Jul. 11, 2012) - Canadian Army Lt. Guillaume Charbonneau tries to cheer up a three-year-old Vietnamese girl being treated for burns, with a stuffed animal in the Pediatric Ward aboard the Military Sealift Command hospital ship USNS Mercy as part of Pacific Partnership 2012 (PP 12) . Vietnam is the third stop for PP 12 . PP is an annual U.S. Pacific Fleet humanitarian and civic assistance mission which brings together U.S. military personnel, host and partner nations, non-government organizations and international agencies to build stronger relationships and develop disaster response capabilities throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
