SEA OF JAPAN (Feb. 4, 2020) - Information Systems Technician 2nd Class Nate Beck, from Altoona, Pennsylvania, and Hull Technician 3rd Class Seth Gonzalez, from Lawton, Oklahoma, participate in search and rescue swimmer (SAR) training off the starboard quarter of U.S. 7th Fleet flag ship, USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19). SAR swimmers routinely perform training exercises in order to maintain proficiency in life-saving techniques.
