RAVINAAIR BASE, Philippines (Oct. 14, 2019) - Philippine Marine Pvt. John AlbertMagallanes buddy rushes alongside U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Christian Dossen priorto a live fire range conducted during KAMANDAG 3 at Colonel Ernesto P. RavinaAir Base, Philippines, Oct. 14, 2019. Exercises such as KAMANDAG increase ourability to work together in response to crises across the military spectrum inorder to accomplish the mission, support the local population, and helpalleviate human suffering. Albert, a native of Oriental, Philippines, is arifleman with 312th Marine Company, 12th Marine Battalion. Dossen, a native ofMason, Ohio, is an infantryman with Easy Company, 2nd Battalion, 2nd MarineRegiment. KAMANDAG is an acronym for the Filipino phrase “Kaagapay Ng MgaManirigma Ng Dagat,” which translates to “Cooperation of the Warriors of theSea,” highlighting the partnership between the U.S. and Philippine militaries.(U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl.
