U.S. Marines advance toward targets during a squad supported attack at the Kaneohe Bay
MARINE COPRS BASE HAWAII, Hawaii (Mar. 6, 2019) -
U.S. Marines with Fox Company, 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, III Marine Expeditionary Force, advance toward targets during a squad supported attack at the Kaneohe Bay Range Training Facility, Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Mar. 6, 2019. Fox utilized machine gun suppression and mortar fire on simulated enemy forces, while infantrymen assaulted forward towards them. This combined-forces exercise was the first day of the battalion’s training event, Exercise Bougainville I, an annual training exercise that strengthens pre-deployment readiness.
