SHIMODA, Japan (May 16, 2010) - Lt. Jeff Wrenn, Bandmaster, conducts the 7th Fleet Band for an audience in Shimoda during the 71st annual Black Ship Festival. The Festival commemorates the arrival of Commodore Matthew Perry and his fleet of ships to Japan in 1854, an event which opened the doors of diplomacy between the U.S. and Japan.
