Maj. Ryan Pallas stands by after donning his gas mask prior to a Helicopter Support Team exercise

Ryan Pallas, a CH-53 Super Stallion helicopter pilot with Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron (HMH) 463, stands by after donning his gas mask prior to a Helicopter Support Team (HST) exercise at Landing Zone Westfield, Marine Corps Base Hawaii. The HST exercise is targeted to make the landing support specialists with Combat Logistics Battalion 3 and HMH-463 pilots more proficient in the case they need to quickly extract an object.
