SEA OF JAPAN (Mar. 23, 2010) - Sailors observe landing craft air cushion (LCAC) 29, assigned to Assault Craft Unit (ACU) 5, as it prepares to enter the well deck of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Harpers Ferry (LSD 49) during amphibious operations. Harpers Ferry, with embarked 31st MEU, is part of the forward-deployed Essex Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and is conducting spring patrol to the Western Pacific Ocean.
