PLUTALUANG, Thailand (Feb. 17, 2010) - Operations Specialist 2nd Class Jason Roe, assigned to Amphibious Squadron Eleven, works with a member of the Royal Thai Navy to paint a bench during a community service project at Ban Klod Nursery. Amphibious Squadron Eleven, commanded by Capt. Donald Schmieley, is visiting Laem Chabang, Thailand for a port visit following the completion of Cobra Gold 2010. Amphibious Squadron Eleven ships include the flagship USS Essex (LHD 2), USS Denver (LPD 9), USS Harpers Ferry (LSD 49) and USS Tortuga (LSD 46) and currently has the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit Embarked.
