B-1Bs conduct sequenced bilateral training with Japan Air Self-Defense Force and Republic Of Korea Air Force

ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam (June 20, 2017) - A U.S. Air Force B-1B Lancer aircraft assigned to the 9th Expeditionary Bomb Squadron, deployed from Dyess Air Force Base, Texas, takes off from Andersen Air Force Base for a 10-hour mission, flying in the vicinity of Kyushu, Japan, the East China Sea, and the Korean peninsula. The normal/routine employment of continuous bomber presence (CBP) missions in the U.S. Pacific Command's area of responsibility since March 2004 is in accordance with international law & is vital to the principles that are the foundation of the rules-based global operating system.
