Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit disembark after 6-week patrol

WHITE BEACH, Okinawa (April 6, 2017) - Marines, assigned to the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, disembark the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) while pier side at White Beach Naval Facility. Bonhomme Richard, flagship of the Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group is on a patrol, operating in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region to enhance warfighting readiness and posture forward as a ready-response force for any type of contingency.
