PYEONGTAEK, Korea (Mar. 26, 2017) - Capt. Jeff Bennett, commander, Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, and U.S. Army Brig. Gen. David Francis, Second Infantry Division, Republic of Korea (ROK)-US Combined Division Deputy Commanding General, attend a memorial for sailors lost during the sinking of ROK's Cheonan on March, 26 2010. Bennett is currently embarked on the forward-deployed Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS McCampbell (DDG 85) in support of Foal Eagle 2017, a series of annual training events that are defense-oriented and designed to increase readiness to defend the Republic of Korea, protect the region, and maintain stability on the Korean Peninsula.
