U.S. Marines drive their amphibious assault vehicle through the Nu'upia Ponds Wildlife Management Area part of the Annual 'Mud Ops
MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII, Hawaii (Feb. 26, 2019) - U.S. Marines with Combat Assault Company (CAC), 3rd Marine Regiment, drive their amphibious assault vehicle (AAV) through the Nu’upia Ponds Wildlife Management Area part of the 34th Annual ‘Mud Ops,' Marine Corps Base Hawaii (MCBH), Feb. 26, 2019. The MCBH Environmental Compliance and Protection Department partnered with CAC to utilize their AAVs in an effort to fight back against invasive plants and prepare plots of wetlands for local water fowl.
