President Trump Visits USPACOM on First Leg of Indo-Asia-Pacific Journey

Harry Harris, are piped aboard during an honors ceremony at USPACOM headquarters. The President is in Hawaii to receive a briefing from USPACOM prior to traveling to Japan, the Republic of Korea, China, Vietnam and the Philippines from November 3-14. During the trip the President will underscore his commitment to longstanding U.S. alliances and partnerships, and reaffirm U.S. leadership in promoting a free and open Indo-Asia-Pacific region. The president’s engagements will strengthen the international resolve to confront the North Korean threat and ensure the complete, verifiable and irreversible denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.
