Butterfly_Small Heath.Transylvania, Ro

The small heath is a butterfly in almost all Europe, though in some regions it is replaced by more specialised species of heath . Because of its familiarity it hardly needs a description, but note the largely unmarked hindwing, lacking any prominent rings or clearly defined white patches.
