Short - tailed Blue

Short Tailed Blue-Everes argiades (Cupido alcetas)

Distribution: Northern Spain, France and eastwards to Romania, Greece and the Balkans including most of Italy. A delicate butterfly.

The orange patches on the underside are a very useful identification aid.
