One of only 6 remaining SP painted units on the roster, AC4400CW 6290 leads UP Train MDMNL 13 through KC Union Station on Main Track 4 of the KCT East-West Corridor at Penn Avenue. On the left is the DP engine of KCS Train 2C-KCSH-13 shoving the rear of the coal load up the hill on Main Track 1.
As for the MDMNL, after coming off the Spine Line from Des Moines, IA, they're running "around the world" to UP Neff Yard and make a rear end setout before containing south to North Little Rock, AR. Dutifully waving for the pile of foamers assembled on the West Pennway overpass is Conductor Ken Baum.
