CABIN/THOREAU

Untitled Project: Cabin [Thoreau][La Littorale #6] is a 1:1 scale, sculpture of a cabin based on the replica of Henry David Thoreau’s cabin at Walden Pond. This carved and painted replica of the replica is built on-site near the shore of Lac Nord of Izadia Ecological Park in Anglet, France and is intended to function as a symbolic object and also a sincere/ironic gesture ultimately useful for considering one's place in the (natural) world.

This project was part of La Littorale #6, the Biennale Internationale d'Art Contemporain in Anglet, Curated by Paul Ardenne.
