JUBA, SOUTH SUDAN, 04 MAY: Last week, 76 staff officers and 16 military observers from UNMISS received the prestigious United Nations medal for their commitment to building a durable peace in the world’s youngest nation, South Sudan. The UN Peacekeeping mission’s Force Commander, Lieutenant-General Mohan Subramanian, pinned medals on uniformed personnel representing 25 nationalities including Cambodia, Bangladesh, Norway, Australia, Pakistan, India, Brazil, Peru, Ghana, among others.
