[At the present time, only four photos] On a country road in Mecklenburg County, Virginia is a line of old stores constituting the "ghost town" of Union Level. The settlement goes back to the early 1800s but I don't think anything remains of that time. The railroad established a line through here in the late 19th century, but then the rail line left. I've been told it was still a commercial location up to the 1950s and abandoned sometime after. I know nothing of any of the buildings or what the future of this location might be.
