So obviously I have an uncle who works at Nintendo, and he told me what the next Pokémon game is gonna be like.

 

There will be an evil organization called Team Block, and their grunts are pretty tough. If they knockout one of your Pokémon, the poor guy will turn into a cube, becoming permanently unusable in battle.

 

But worry not, they're also working on a Mario Kart 8 patch, which will allow you to transfer your blocky Pokémon and use them in kart races. Thanks Kojima!
