The school lacks sufficient space, equipment, and sanitation to provide its students with a healthy academic environment. Even under these conditions, the demand for enrollment and taught courses remains much higher than the current capacity of the school. While there are 470 enrolled students today, the completion of the new building will allow 400 additional students to join.
The construction of a new school building and the provision of equipment to the school, through funds from German Embassy Beirut KfW within the framework of the Lebanon Host Communities Support Programme #LHSP, will soon improve the quality of education for current students. This project will also allow new students from Berqayel and neighboring villages to join. #UNDP #MoSA
