Sick on Sage

Thanks to Owen for the ID - it's a Rosemary Beetle on a sage leaf (well, some ornamental sage-like plant) - this one seemed to be suffering from a fungal infection and was not a happy chappy/ess.

 

Handheld, spot metering, manual focus at closest distance in natural light (overcast) - the dark shadow in front is the camera :-(

 

Minimal PP: NL filter, subtle unsharp mask, and crop in GIMP
