Pacha, London SW1 - GIMP remix

I used to go here when I was a nipper (when it was imaginatively called the SW1 Club).

 

The original was very murky and dull (xpro ektachrome needs sunshine it seems).

 

So, I thought, time to mess around with GIMP...

 

1. Repeatedly select by colour (in add-to-selection mode) to get the Pacha logo

 

2. copy and paste that to new layer (on top, of course)

 

3. boost the Pacha red with curves (I also lit it with a red lighting effect I think)

 

4. invert the background and tweak colour balance with curves (a vanilla invert doesn't do such a nice job).

Done
