A Single Sided Modular Steel Panel Wall Form - 2006
The modular All Steel Form Panels are bolted together to form vertical strips. The 'Soldier Panels' are then bolted to the backs of form panels to provide enough strength so that the form only requires Anchors below and above the concrete pour. The full height Panel strip is then crane handled into position and attached to the panel unit next to it. This Heavy Duty method of Construction does away with the need form any Form Ties in the concrete wall.
These walls are to become a new below ground radiation suite as part of the Royal Marsden Cancer Hospital at Sutton in Surrey.
