Secretary-General Visits Al-Arish Airport in Egypt

Secretary-General António Guterres (centre) at the Al-Arish Airport in Egypt, on his way to the Rafah border crossing between Gaza and Egypt.

 

The Secretary-General flew in a cargo plane carrying 65 tonnes of humanitarian supplies including food donated to the World Food Programme (WFP) tarpaulins from the UN migration agency IOM and trauma kits from the World Health Organization (WHO).
