Veuve Clicquot champagne served in beautiful Japanese lacquerware

Sensei spoiled us with a wonderful champagne served in very special lacquerware. Japanese lacquerware is amongst the world's finest and has been the standard of lacquerware in the West for hundreds of years. The cups were so beautiful. It was like drinking from a goblet of gold.
