Jannat al-Mu`alla

This is a cemetery in Mecca where many well known people are buried, amongst them:

Aamina, the mother of the Prophet

Abu Talib, the Prophet's uncle

Khadija, the Prophet's wife

Qasim, son of the Prophet who died in his infancy.

 

Simple stones mark the position of the head and feet.
