Revisting Palolem Beach

Palolem beach is at extreme south of Goa, about 40 kms south to Colva, about 60 kms south to Panaji and about 80 kms south to Arambol. Palolem is a small village, very limited busses and autos, very limited shops and markets. Main occupation is fishing followed by tourism.
The beach is about 3 kms long. On the north side there is back water which gives the view of a river. You cannot go beyond that as there is mountain. You can see Canacona Island here, a mountain in the sea. On the south side of the beach there is beautiful rock formation. You can climb on the rocks and go to Colomb beach which is south to Palolem.
