Oven ready chicken
I have a rule that I don't put anything living into my X-Ray machine because (a) I have no idea of how large or damaging the radiation dose might be and (b) few things will hold still for a five-second exposure.
This oven-ready chicken was past the point of caring how much X-Ray energy it received and had no problem at all staying motionless. I was pleased to see that I can resolve bones and soft tissue, although the results aren't anywhere near as good as one might expect from a clinical-grade machine. Or even a veterinary-grade one.
The experience didn't seem to harm the chicken. It was delicious.
