Kentucky has been drenched with about 8 inches of rain over the weekend which is unheard of.... well my thinking goes like this & quote;rain makes happy waterfalls & quote; So off we went my Buddy Edgar and I armed with Camera's Umbrella's and high rubber boots we must looked ridiculous at the trail head in the middle of a total downpour. But we also knew the key, that we will have to falls to ourselves ...... Even my Dog Molly refused to go and just jumped back into the car and wouldn't budge.... Usually at the beginning of the trail we have to cross the creek that is easily done with hiking boots. But our rubber boots were just high enough to clear the water for now...... We had a merry shoot taking turns holding the umbrella over whoever was shooting at the time. I wish we had a picture of that...... Suddenly Edgar noticed that there was more water coming over the falls and in all the gullies in the forest. So we knew we had to give this photo shoot an untimely end. since we have to cross that creek again..... And we did, but the water was already way up by then and our rubber boot didn't kept our feet dry this time...
