University of Iowa Health Care STEM Education programs were represented at the Iowa State Fair on Friday, August 9th in the Varied Industries Building. Children and their families engaged with current medical students, practiced their hand at laparoscopic surgery, tested their sun safety awareness, and interacted with plastinated human specimens.
