Anechoic Chamber Wall

The shape, spacing and materials of these foam spikes are designed to stop sound and electromagnetic radiation travelling through the walls of this room. This makes it a good place to do experiments that could otherwise suffer from interference.

 

This is the wall of the anechoic chamber in the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering at UCL.
