FOX FRIDAY is back....AGAIN. The portrait that I posted two weeks ago wasn't the only Fox photo that I managed to capture on that delightful morning in the snow. In fact, as I think I mentioned, there were foxes running all over the place. At one point, actually prior to catching that portrait, the presumed male of the group came bounding down the other side of the same trail. I saw him with some advanced warning and I was able to crouch down behind some brush and wait. He soon appeared in front of me and I already had my camera up and ready to go. I managed to fire off about 10 or 15 frames before he turned and high-tailed it a hundred yards or so back from where he came. This photo was my favorite from that set of frames. My positioning behind the snow covered brush worked out fabulously to create some gorgeous white bokeh both in front of and behind the fox as it stopped (framing itself nicely next to a tree) to assess what I was.
