Machupicchu terraces

The terraces here are quite small, but the place is built on top possibly the most inconvenient place possible.

 

That's also one of the things that makes it neat. The Spanish didn't find it, it was abandoned. It's so complete you almost get flashbacks of being here when it was functional.

 

Note the wear on the terrace where tourists are allowed. yea
