Kathmandu Streets

A pedestrian crosses the Kathmandu - Pokhara Highway on the edge of the Nepali capital. Major road construction, exacerbated by trying to complete everything before the new Municipal elections produce results - and new budgets and contracts - mixes with the pollution trap the geological bowl the city sits in, creates a particularly caustic atmosphere.
