This Hercules came into the Edmonton City Centre airport earlier this week, to do some familiarization work with the local CASARA (Civil Air Search and Rescue Association) unit. Sadly, this airport (the oldest in Canada) is being closed today, the 30th of November, 2013. If you are in the area this afternoon, expect a lot of noise, as the RCAF is sending CF-18s to fly past and pay their respects.
Back to the photo; to get this angle, I climbed up on top of the snow pile, which brought my eye level to just above the wings. The original set is comprised of 39 individual photos.
