Timijiraque, El Hierro

View of the small settlement of Timijiraque in the the Municipality of Valverde (El Hierro Island) and the typical vegetation of the narrow coastal plains, adapted to the harsh conditions created by the high salinity from the prevailing sea breezes and the rocky volcanic terrain. The small black sand cove of Timijiraque is one of the few sandy beaches on the island.
