From a project documenting a local food market that is trying to prevent a large food store chain from opening at its border. The project is attempting to represent what "local" means. Exhibited at the Rutas Panamericanas theatre festival in Toronto this past week. The festival brings artists and activists from North and South America for creative and community exchange. Hard to pick one image as it was meant to be taken as a whole, but I like how this one relates the shops to the streets. Thanks for a wonderful year of photographs.
