It always kills me to get up for early morning shoots, but I immediately pat myself on the back when I can muster the energy and enthusiasm.

 

I have no idea what this field is made of, but it's one of my favorite spots up in Julian. Every winter, the brown field "dies" and magically turns this magnificent red color.
