Allies and Morrison Studio, London, England

 

This is one from the vaults and is from Open House London 2013. This is the spiral staircase from inside the Allies and Morrison Studio in London. One advantage of being an architect when designing your own studio is that you can make your spiral staircase as elaborate as you like and Allies and Morrison did just that. I certainly wish I had my A99 and Zeiss glass at the time as the image is a little soft but I quite like the detail I managed to capture.

 

I have done this image before and uploaded it a few years ago but not in this crop and this tighter crop I feel really works and helps the viewer concentrate on all the stunning details this spiral staircase has to offer.

 

Also for those who have never been to Open House London I highly recommend it!
