Usher Hall, Edinburgh, Scotland
Revisiting back to Usher Hall in Edinburgh this morning but this time from looking at the top. This is one amazing staircase and just like the intersecting metal lines and the curves, they really do work well together. The Chandelier in its own right is pretty amazing, this image almost reminds me of the Warp Core in Star Trek, yes I know ;-). I did try this in colour and just wasn't happy with it however may revisit it sometime in colour. Also it was a shame there wasn't less clutter in the image with all the banners, they were quite distracting when trying to take the image but I had to make the best of the situation as I won't be back here for a little while.
I have also got some great news, I have just picked up a Zeiss Lens on eBay, more accurately its the Zeiss 16-35!! I am well chuffed and looking forward to getting this awesome lens to replace my Minolta 17-35 which was really just a stop gap until I could afford the Zeiss glass.
