Broad Street - Cuffley Cravens pass Finsbury Park No. 1

An exceptionally rare viewpoint from the signalbox shortly before its closure finds an evening commuter service about to duck under the GN main line approaching Finsbury Park depot. On the left are 16 tonners in Ashburton Grove goods yard. This supposedly closed to revenue traffic in June 1960 so I am assuming they are being used by the civil engineer during the electrification works. Note there are still no sign of masts on the main line, just another passing lengthy dmu.
