St Johns Anglican Church in Canberra: rear view
There is something about the texture and color of the stonework and the solidity of the architecture that really appeals. This one is an outstanding example. Its just off Constitution Ave and it has a long history. Built in the 1840's it pre-dates Canberra by 70 years, when the locale of "Canberry" was a tiny hamlet in the middle of no-where on the banks of the Molonglo River.
