So much Photoshop - So little time!

The last three months were like hell.

My editor asked me to write a book for Adobe Photoshop CS3. I accepted the challenge to write 150.000 words in two volumes of 312 pages each. The first one is published in May and the second one in June.

It was a somehow impossible job, as the final version of Adobe Photoshop CS3 was available for testing, but till 27 of March there was no documentation.

My friends at Anodos SA, the official Adobe distributor in Greece (www.anodos.gr) helped me a lot, providing me the final version of Adobe Photoshop CS3 prior to its official release and they also gave me the only documantation available at the time.

But...

...they also asked me a little favour. To present the CS 3 version in Athens (27 March), in Thessaloniki (15 April), in Patras (18 April) and finaly in Heraklion, Crete (5 May).

So I had also to travel all Greece while I had to work more than 14 hours every single day for more than two months without any day off...

Now that the books are finished and published I am realy feeling exhausted but happy. The "impossible job" wasn't that impossible.

Today I had to write another review for Adobe Photoshop CS3. This time it was a 6-7 pages article for the greek edition of Adobe Magazine. This illustration is made for that review. After all these hours, miles, pages talking and writting about Adobe Photoshop I cannot find a way to describe the program in only 6-7 pages. The CS3 edition is realy huge! That's why the guy on the illustration is screaming. So much Photoshop - So little time! Of course it's a way of screaming because of too much work, so little time and so much pressure.

(This illustration is made with Adobe Photoshop, Synthetik Studio Artist, Apple QuickTime Pro. The icons used are the new icons for Adobe CS3. Best viewed large)
