Hiding in the Woods (beech)
Hiding in the woods - a tree mask - designed and folded by me, based on the technique by Russel Sutherland, learned by Beata Kupczak (idea and paper inspired by liz ;) )
Second part of my treemaskseries, hopefully there are more to come.
Paper was a kind of lengthy square (approx 15x18cm) of Crêpepaper glued on aquarell paper (i like the german name Krepppapier with its 3 p's)
As the texture of the paper already ressembles the bark of trees a lot, i decided to try and give it a tree-ish look.
I took the first attempt (see here: www.flickr.com/photos/tschobigami/21883986099 ) and tried to get the same proportions but shifted upwards for a bit. that worked out quite well, but i am still not entirely happy with the shaping. feel free to leave your opinion on what improved from the last version, which parts i failed to improve, and what could still be done better!
