Just chillin'
Didn't really like the other photo, so i decided to go out and give it another shoot. There isn't any snow here in Munich, but the weather is still kind of chilly, which also inspired me for the title ;)
Model: Kit fox - designed by bernie peyton, folded by me.
Paper: 25cm of elephant hide, shaped with mc.
I visited the cdo in tabiano earlier this month and bernie was one of the special guests. His workshops always were a lot of fun and his organic shapes are inspiring. having bought a pack of coloured elephant hide in tabiano, it seemed only consequent to try and wetfold one of his models. This fox immediatly caught my attention with its cute face and the 3dimensional and curvy rest of the model. Folding it, i recognized a lot of bernies style, beginning from getting references to the shaping, which is really nice and a lot of fun to fold. the shaping with mc made the model really stable - it is a present for my dad :)
