Pelicans
Pelicans - designed by Hoang Tien Quyet, folded by me.
22 and 24cm of elephant hide, coloured brown on one side before folding.
Wetfolded.
I gave them to my mother for mothers day - not a classic mothers-day-present, but she liked them so i decided to make those for her - Happy mothers Day to all mothers below you ;)
The paper i used - Elephant hide + a thick layer of acrylic paint - i estimate it was around 150g/m² was still quite thin for this model - i would prefer to fold it from a bit thicker paper, as this improves the look of this model a lot in my opinion.
