Wetterhorn - geology explained

Grindelwald, Switzerland. As promised some geology of the region. Here you are able to see a darker, unstratified crystalline rocks overlying deformed lighter carbonates. I outlined the much older rocks with a dashed yellow line to make the dynamic forces that prevailed during the formation of the Alps better visible.
