Matsuri in Tsukishima

For all of you waiting for my photos from Japan~ (... because I actually still have quite a few photos from Taiwan to catch up on)

 

Shrine bearers chanted and carried their shrines all thru the streets of Tsukishima, occasionally slowing down, like here, due to traffic ahead from other shrine bearers or cars, etc, as far as i could tell. This was the first time I've seen water sprayed like this... In case you're wondering where all the water comes from, families and shops would wait outside with big buckets of water for the shrines to pass by.
