Shaw's stage play Pygmalion, performed from 25 January 1915 by the Koninklijke Vereeniging Het Nederlandsch Tooneel (K.V.H.N.T.). The first night took place at the Amsterdam based Stadsschouwburg, under direction of Herman Roelvink.
